Appealing a Ticket

A valid appeal may only be based on the contention that a violation was issued contrary to the Parking and Traffic Regulations or in error. Ignorance does not constitute grounds for an appeal.

Staff or Student Appealing a Ticket Online

Log in using your U of G Central Login and password to appeal a ticket online.  Enter your citation number and license plate number into the search boxes.  You will then need to login using your central login and password.

If you are a new student or staff member and are having issues logging in please contact Parking Services, questions@parking.uoguelph.ca we may need to set up an account for you.

Visitors or Contractors Appealing a Ticket Online

Visitors or Contractions will need to set up a guest account in order to appeal a ticket online. Click on the link: If you do not have a U of G Central Login ID for this system you may create a guest account.  Enter in your account information, pick a unique id that you can easily remember.

After you are logged in:

Enter search information for both the citation number and your vehicle plate information (do not put a space in your license plate number) and select "Search". 

You must attach a photo to complete your appeal.  If you do not have a photo associated with your appeal, please just attach a blank pdf.  Your appeal may not be more then 2000 characters.  Spacing effects your number of characters, please don't enter blank lines. Check the box next to method by which you wish to be contacted about the results of this appeal. 

Hotmail accounts can not be processed at this time.  Please use an alternate email to complete your appeal.
