Road and Parking Closures - Residence Move-In

Residence Move-In Day is Fast Approaching!

Move-In will take place over 3 days this year:

Thursday, Aug 28 (evening only), Friday, Aug 29, and Saturday August 30

In effort to contribute to a successful move-in experience, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following lot closures:

We kindly encourage you, if possible, to reduce/limit your trips to campus during this time.  Access to South Ring Road and East Ring Road will not be available.  These roads are closed for Residence Move-In Only.

OPEN ENTRANCE POINTS: 

Attending East-Side of Campus:  You must enter off Stone Road by the Arboretum Village and park in P12 & P10.

Attending West-Side of Campus: We recommended you come in from the Hanlon Expressway to Kortright Road West to Gordon St.  You may access the west-side of campus via South Ring Road West, McGilvray St off Gordon St or Smith Lane off College Ave.  

The corner of Gordon/College is under construction.  Stone Road to Gordon and College Ave from Gordon to Victoria will have heavier traffic due to Move-In.

Buses and Taxis will be temporarily located off-campus:

Guelph Transit:
Movati Athletic - Parking Lot
80 Stone Rd. W, Guelph, Ontario N1G0A9

GO Transit:

Westbound 17 & 29, Last stop WB 48 & Eastbound 33: 

• Service University of Guelph @ Gordon St (Street stop located North of Stone Road)
• Continue on Gordon Street Northbound to regular route

Eastbound 17,29, 48, & Westbound 33:

• Regular route to Gordon Street
• Continue on Gordon Street to South Ring Rd
• Service University of Guelph (Street Stop) @ Gordon Street (South of South Ring Rd)
