Do I need a Government issued; MTO Accessible Permit to park at an accessible space on campus? Yes! A valid MTO permit issued by the Ministry of Transportation is required to park at an MTO Accessible space on campus. If you do not possess a valid MTO permit and/or you require short term accessible parking, please contact Student Accessibility Services (for students) or Occupational Health and Wellness (for staff) to discuss your requirements.
Is my U of G parking permit valid at MTO Accessible spaces? Yes! Valid Parking Permits issued by Campus Parking Services can be used as payment at MTO Accessible Spaces on Campus. You are still required to posses a valid MTO permit
Will I have a reserved Accessible Parking Space? NO. We do not reserve MTO Accessible spaces on campus. All MTO Accessible spaces are operated in a first come first served basis. If you require a more permanent solution please contact Student Accessibility Services (for students) or Occupational Health and Wellness (for staff) to discuss your requirements.
Accessible Parking for Visitors and Short Term Parking No problem! If you are visiting campus, or you park on a short term basis, you can park at any MTO accessible space on campus and use PaybyPhone for payment. Each space is identified with an MTO sign that includes PaybyPhone payment instructions. You will need to ensure that you MTO permit is clearly displayed.
