Charging Station Rules
- EV spaces may be used only while the vehicle is actively charging (must be drawing current).
- Time limits apply in some locations:
- 4‑hour maximum: P4, P12, P23, P31
- No time limit: P15, P48, P49, P30, P59
- Parking in an EV space when not charging or after exceeding the time limit is a policy violation.
- When charging is complete, you must move your vehicle to a regular parking space.
- EV charging spaces operate on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
- Drivers without an EV permit may use EV charging spaces by paying through paybyphone or HONK.
- University fleet EVs may use charging stations without a parking permit.
